Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Military in Occupied Territories

The offensive, which occurred overnight on March 13, targeted Russian troop concentrations and military logistics in various locations. Ukrainian forces zeroed in on multiple sites, including a significant concentration of enemy personnel located near the village of Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This operation is part of Ukraine's sustained efforts to weaken Russian military capabilities in the region. Another important target was near the city of Shakhtarsk, where Russian troop concentrations were engaged.

These actions are designed to disrupt Russian supply lines and combat readiness in occupied areas. Ukrainian forces also targeted a logistics supply warehouse in Berdianske, a location crucial for the operation of Russian troops in Donetsk.

The extent of the damage inflicted on these facilities is still being assessed. However, reports indicate a successful hit on a Russian repair unit and a logistics depot near Andriivka in Zaporizhzhia, further crippling Russian support operations.

Earlier, on March 11, the General Staff confirmed the destruction of five pieces of Russian military equipment due to a strike on an ammunition depot near Shyroka Balka, also in the Donetsk region. This followed earlier reports of successful strikes against critical Russian military assets, including an Iskander missile system, a Nebo-U radar system, and an S-300 air defense system, also targeted in both Crimea and the Donetsk region over recent weeks.

The ongoing offensive operations reflect Ukraine's strategic focus on degrading the Russian military's operational capability in occupied territories, aiming to reclaim control and disrupt logistics that are vital for sustaining Russian military activities.
