The morning assault on March 10 involved an FPV drone that deliberately struck a police car, resulting in serious injuries to a 43-year-old officer who was driving at the time. Emergency medical assistance was provided, and he has since been evacuated to a medical facility, where his condition is reported as serious.

Another officer suffered from acoustic trauma due to the explosion during the incident. Following the initial attack on the police vehicle, Russian drones continued to bombard the district police headquarters, injuring a 38-year-old police officer and causing concussions among three additional officers in the building.
The drone strikes not only caused injuries but also resulted in significant damage to the police administration building and surrounding property. Several vehicles were affected, with two police cars being completely destroyed.
A rescue vehicle responding to assist the injured officers was also damaged during the strikes. Investigators are currently on-site gathering material evidence to assess the extent of the damage and injuries.
Reports indicate that this incident is part of a broader series of assaults. Just a day prior, on March 9, Russian forces leveled more than 30 attacks on the Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnykivskyi districts, utilizing drones and artillery.
These assaults resulted in at least two additional injuries among civilians or law enforcement. The persistent drone activity underscores the ongoing danger faced by law enforcement and civilian populations in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As the conflict continues, these targeted attacks serve to destabilize the local security environment significantly. Police operations are visibly impacted, prompting ongoing investigations and actions to ensure safety and security in the communities affected.
