What Happened

On June 6, 2026, Russian military forces conducted more than 40 attacks across five districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to reports from the regional military administration. The assaults involved the use of drones and artillery, resulting in injuries to six people, among them a minor.

The attacks predominantly targeted the Nikopol district, impacting local communities including Marhanets, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka. Damage to residential and commercial buildings was reported, with injuries affecting both adults and children.

In total, four individuals were injured in this area. A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition, while three others—two men aged 18 and 39, and a 45-year-old woman—were treated on an outpatient basis.

In the Synelnykove district, Russian forces focused artillery fire on Shakhtarska and Raivska communities, damaging a local enterprise and vehicles. Damage was also reported in the Slobozhanske community of the Dnipro district, where a cemetery, agricultural enterprise, private homes, and cars sustained hits.

In the Pishchanska community in the Samara district, attacks resulted in damage to private homes and infrastructure. Two elderly residents, a 73-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man, suffered injuries but were treated at home.

Additionally, in the Kryvyi Rih district, attacks affected the Hrushivska and Zelenodolsk communities, resulting in significant property damage.
