Zelensky Awards 473 Military Personnel, 214 Posthumously

On March 14, 2026, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decree No. 238/2026, awarding a total of 473 military personnel for their personal bravery in safeguarding Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Among the recipients, 214 awards were conferred posthumously, paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their country. The honors included the Presidential badge 'Cross of Combat Merit,' various orders such as those of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Daniel of Galicia, and medals for military service.

These awards recognize the steadfast commitment of the Ukrainian armed forces during ongoing hostilities. The military personnel were acknowledged for their selfless execution of military duties, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.
