Uforce Unveils Bucha Kamikaze Drone with 200 km Range

Ukrainian defense company Uforce has unveiled the Bucha, a kamikaze drone capable of striking targets up to 200 km away, during a job fair in Kyiv.

The Bucha drone boasts a fixed-wing design and can incorporate various communication systems, including Starlink. It features an innovative launch mechanism that employs a propellant launch charge from a compact rail instead of a traditional pneumatic catapult.

Designed for swarm deployment, one Bucha unit can serve as a signal repeater to enhance group coordination and extend the effective strike range.

Testing and Production

Currently, the Bucha is undergoing flight testing, with plans for combat tests in the near future. Each drone is expected to cost between $10,000 and $12,000, depending on the communication technology selected.
