Fighters from the Lasar’s Group, a specialized unit of unmanned aerial systems within the Ukrainian National Guard (NGU), carried out the operation, which was reported on social media. The successful mission was executed with the assistance of the 2nd 'Shchedryk' Battalion of the 411th Separate 'Yastruby' Unmanned Systems Brigade, which conducted reconnaissance to locate enemy assets, sharing vital information with Lasar’s Group.

The operation significantly reduced the fire power that Russian forces could exert on Ukrainian defensive positions. Russian troops in the Pokrovsk direction frequently employed BM-21 Grad systems to deliver strikes against the Ukrainian forces, making their elimination a critical objective.
