President Zelensky shared the news in an evening address on Telegram, noting that the negotiation pause has ended and that efforts are being made to ensure meaningful discussions take place. The Ukrainian delegation, primarily consisting of political representatives, is scheduled to meet in the United States this Saturday.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of establishing new security agreements, particularly regarding air defense systems, which are critical for Ukraine's ongoing protection against Russian threats. Over the past week, Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, visited key capitals in the Gulf region to assess potential support, which he subsequently communicated via phone.

Zelensky is set to receive a detailed online report regarding these engagements. He expressed optimism about understanding the specific forms of support that regional countries may offer.

Key discussions will revolve around the support for air defense and other defense measures that neighboring nations might provide. Zelensky assured that Ukrainian expert groups are already positioned in the relevant countries to bolster defenses against threats such as Shahed drones.

Regular updates are being provided on their operational tasks. The President also highlighted encouraging signals from the American side regarding a willingness to continue negotiations under existing frameworks to bring an end to the war.

In his discussions with Danilov, the head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, and members of the parliamentary faction Servant of the People, Zelensky reiterated the priority of achieving a just peace. Amid these diplomatic efforts, Zelensky recently addressed the European Council, urging the establishment of a clear timeline for Ukraine's accession to the EU to prevent any potential Russian obstruction.

These negotiations represent a critical moment for Ukraine, as ongoing dialogues and security agreements will play a substantial role in shaping the future stability of the region.
