What Happened
On the evening of April 10, Russian forces launched an extensive drone attack targeting various locations in Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense managed to intercept and destroy 133 of the 160 drones involved in the assault.

The attack commenced around 6:00 p.m. and included drones of multiple types, such as Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas. The drones were launched from several regions, including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as temporarily occupied areas in Donetsk and Crimea.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, approximately 100 of the drones that were launched were of the Shahed type. Air defense operations included aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, and electronic warfare units, which worked together to neutralize the threat effectively.
By 8:00 a.m. on April 11, reports indicated that debris from the downed drones had fallen in 11 different locations, and strikes from 20 attack drones had occurred at 10 locations throughout northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Casualties have been reported as a result of the drone strikes. Specifically, two people were killed in Odesa when drones struck a residential area on the night of April 11, and two additional victims have been hospitalized.
