Russian Forces Intensify Activities in Dnipro River Islands

In recent days, the activities of Russian forces in the island zone of the Dnipro River have notably increased. Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South, reported that the enemy has been making regular attempts to land on various islands within this strategic area.

'In the past day, an attempt to land on Bilohrudyi Island was recorded, following previous attempts on Velykyi Potyomkin and Kruhlik,' Voloshyn stated. This escalation is part of a broader pattern of intensified operations aimed at establishing and expanding Russian military presence in the region.

The increasing warmth of the weather is expected to facilitate more amphibious operations, prompting concerns from Ukrainian military officials. Voloshyn noted that the enemy is likely preparing for increased maritime movements, further complicating the operational landscape.
