Russian Attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Injure Six Civilians

What Happened

On June 6, 2023, Russian forces launched more than 40 attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, injuring six civilians, as reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration. The assaults covered five districts, primarily utilizing drones and artillery.

Key Details

The Nikopol district was severely affected, with several locations, including the cities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka, coming under fire. Damage was reported to residential buildings, vehicles, and basic infrastructure, highlighting the widespread impact on civilian life.

Four of the injured were in Nikopol, and included a 16-year-old boy who required hospitalization for moderate injuries. Other victims include men aged 18 and 39 as well as a 45-year-old woman, all of whom will receive outpatient care.

Additionally, strikes were reported in the Pishchanka hromada of the Samar district, where an 86-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman sustained injuries from the attacks. They both will also receive outpatient treatment.
