Russian Army Launches 52 Attacks in One Day, Focus on Pokrovsk

Today, the Russian army has launched 52 attacks on Ukrainian forces since the early hours, particularly intensifying efforts in the Pokrovsk region. This report was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their official social media account.

Key Details

The majority of the attacks were processed by artillery, targeting areas including Rohizne, Koryenok, Kucherivka, and Seredyne-Buda in the Sumy region. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, four combat engagements occurred between Ukrainian defenders and Russian troops.

Reports indicate that Ukrainian positions and local settlements faced 10 separate bombardments from Russian forces. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russians made seven assault attempts on areas near Prylipka, Lyman, and Starytsia.

Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled two enemy advancement attempts in the Sloviansk direction near Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kalenyky. Attacks were also reported in the Kostiantynivka direction, where the Russian army executed nine attacks around Ivanopillia, Pleshtsheivka, Illinivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Sofiivka, with ongoing combat at one location.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 16 assault attempts were made against Ukrainian defenses near Novolukavitiivka, Zatyshsche, Ivanivka, Dorožne, Rodynske, Hryshyn, Kotlynov, Udaichne, Molodetske, and Novopidhorodne, with three engagements still in progress. The Olexandrivka sector witnessed two attacks on Ukrainian positions in Olexandrhrad and Voronoe, and combat is ongoing there.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Ukrainian forces managed to fend off seven attacks near Dobropillia and Zhlagody, moving toward Staroukrainka and Charivne. Notably, the Dniprovsk direction observed a successful defense against one Russian attack towards the Antonivsky bridge.

The overall situation along the front line remains unchanged with no significant movements reported from Russian forces in other areas today.
