The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed that during the last 24 hours, there were significant military engagements across several sectors. The Kostiantynivka direction, particularly, has been under heavy pressure from enemy forces, which are also active in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors.
The latest operational data, released on March 15, outlines the extent of hostilities and the military strategies being deployed. Furthermore, enemy troops deployed over 9,200 kamikaze drones and shelled Ukrainian positions and populated areas 3,632 times, with 62 of those attacks using multiple rocket launch systems (MRLS).
Notably affected areas included the Dnipropetrovsk region, particularly Pysantsi, as well as various locations in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Ukrainian forces reported that they effectively targeted three assembly points for enemy personnel and equipment and two other critical sites within a single day.
In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were three reported clashes, with Russian troops conducting 110 shelling operations, including two using MRLS. In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, attempts by Russian forces to breach defense lines near Vovchansk were noted.
The Kupiansk direction also saw multiple attacks targeting Kurylivka and Petropavlivka. Despite these aggressive assaults, Ukrainian defenders successfully thwarted 20 enemy assault attempts across different localities in the Pokrovsk direction, demonstrating resilience against ongoing challenges.
Air raids were launched against the Kostiantynivka area, where Ukrainian forces faced 28 attacks, indicating a concentrated effort to penetrate defenses. The overall landscape continues to show a stark picture of conflict across multiple fronts in Ukraine, with forces on both sides actively engaged in various operations, reflecting the ongoing intensity of the situation as the war advances into its second year.
