According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the day has seen a significant concentration of combat engagements across several sectors. The main clashes occurred in Huliaipole, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk, where Russian forces attempted multiple attacks to gain territory.

The operational update was provided via Facebook and highlights ongoing tensions along the frontline. As of 16:00, the fighting showed no signs of abating, with numerous shelling incidents reported in border regions.
In the Sumy region, multiple settlements, including Korenyok, Bachivsk, and Ulanove, experienced shelling. Russian forces also targeted the Chernihiv region, striking Yasna Poliana.
The Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors saw 66 attacks on civilian and military positions, including eight involving multiple launch rocket systems. The report noted six combat engagements during this period.
Meanwhile, the southern front faced three attacks near Starytsia and Synelnykove, and four attempts to improve positions were made in the Kupiansk sector. Combat units have shown resilience; reports from the Sloviansk sector indicate attempts by Russian forces to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka were repelled.
Further engagements continue around Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk sector, while Kostiantynivka witnessed eight attacks from enemy forces trying to push Ukrainian troops from populated areas. The situation remains fluid with ongoing exchanges of fire in numerous locations.
The Huliaipole sector has particularly been under pressure, where Ukrainian positions faced ten distinct Russian attacks targeting multiple settlements, such as Zaliznychne and Staroukrainka. Airstrikes were also reported near Vozdvyzhivka and Zalyvne, indicating a shift to more intense aerial operations in this region.
Despite heavy engagements, no significant advancement by Russian units has been reported, especially in sectors like Lyman and Prydniprovske, where Ukrainian defenses appear robust. Earlier reports noted that the Third Army Corps effectively countered a large-scale mechanized offensive which had involved considerable resources from the Russian side, signifying the ongoing challenges in attempting to secure front line gains.
While frontline clashes indicate an escalation of hostilities, the Ukrainian forces maintain a focus on protecting their positions amid continuous threats from artillery and raket strikes. The defence strategy appears intact for now as the situation develops across various sectors.
