On May 3, 2023, Russian military forces conducted a series of attacks on the Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to five individuals. The strikes targeted various settlements, with significant destruction reported across multiple locations. The information was provided by Oleksandr Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, in a Facebook update.

The attacks involved a diverse arsenal that included six guided aerial bombs, five Geran-2 drones, nine Molniya drones, four FPV drones, and 29 additional drones of an unspecified type. Notable casualties included a 22-year-old woman in Zolochiv, a 74-year-old woman who experienced acute stress reaction in the village of Shuby, and a 42-year-old woman in Lozova.

Two men aged 52 and 53 were also reported injured near the village of Kam’yana Yaruha. The strikes caused widespread infrastructure damage. In the Bohodukhiv region, several structures were hit, including a dormitory, a kiosk, a shop, and administrative buildings.

Private homes and a farm in various villages were also affected. In the Izium region, at least six residential buildings were damaged, alongside three vehicles. The attacks on May 3 led to significant concern over civilian safety in the area.

Additionally, a transit evacuation point in Lozova received 96 individuals over the past day, totaling 31,956 registered since its establishment. The increased civilian influx reflects the ongoing safety issues faced by residents in the affected areas.
