Czech President to Discuss Ukraine Support in Baltics

During his upcoming visits to Latvia and Lithuania, Czech President Petr Pavel aims to address the ongoing support for Ukraine and the broader security dynamics in Europe. Pavel emphasized the significance of collaboration amongst Central and Eastern European nations to bolster defense postures, especially in light of the direct threats posed by Russia and Belarus.

He noted that the smaller populations and economies of the Baltic states do not diminish their commitment to assisting Ukraine. They actively contribute to military aid, both through the 'shell initiative' and direct purchases of weapons.
