What Happened On March 29, 2026, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a significant number of combat engagements at various frontline locations. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defensive lines five times in areas like Starytsia and Vovchansk. The Kupiansk direction faced nine attacks, while the Lyman direction saw five attempts to infiltrate Ukrainian positions. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted four advancements of Russian troops. Kramatorsk saw three attempted assaults from Russian forces, while constant attacks were reported in the Kostyantynivka area, with 27 hostile actions recorded. In the Pokrovsk area, Ukrainian defenses repelled 57 assault attempts, demonstrating the high intensity of combat in that specific region. In addition to this, the Gulyai Pole direction also witnessed 33 instances of Russian attacks in several localized areas.
