The Ukrainian spokesperson stated that the assaults particularly targeted populated areas, with multiple rounds fired at military positions using artillery and kamikaze drones. Detail on specifics revealed that Russian offensive actions resulted in attacks on settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, including Velykomykhailivka and Pokrovske.
The Ukrainian Air Force retaliated, striking six locations where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, effectively mitigating further Russian advances. In total, attacks were reported from multiple sectors, including Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk, where 124 assaults occurred, frequently utilizing multiple launch rocket systems.
Combat engagements were noted across various regions, with the Pokrovsk sector witnessing the most significant number of assaults. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 28 attempts to breach defenses in the area, safeguarding key territories such as Chervonyi Lyman and Myrnohrad.
The Kostiantynivka sector also witnessed intense fighting, with multiple attacks launched against defended positions. Meanwhile, Russian forces attempted to penetrate Ukrainian lines in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, with eight offensive actions reported.
