Intense Fighting in Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka: 122 Clashes Reported

Fighting Overview

On March 12, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported extensive assaults by Russian forces, including 54 airstrikes and the deployment of 191 guided bombs.

Ukrainian defenses dealt with over 4,151 kamikaze drone incidents and 2,821 attacks aimed at both military positions and civilian areas, indicating the volatile situation on the ground.

Northern and Southern Fronts

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk regions, Ukrainian forces repelled 88 enemy shellings, which involved attacks using multiple rocket launchers. Russian troops aimed to breach defenses near Zybine in Southern Slobozhanshchyna, signaling an aggressive push to penetrate Ukrainian lines.

The Pokrovsk sector also reported 16 assaults, with Russian troops attempting to gain ground near Myrnohrad and Rodynske. Preliminary reports suggested that Ukrainian defenses neutralized approximately 28 enemy personnel, inflicting considerable equipment losses on the attackers.

Heavy fighting persisted in the Huliaipole sector, marked by 24 attacks in and around the region. These ongoing hostilities illustrate the complexity of the conflict, as Russian aerial and ground operations exert continuous pressure on Ukrainian defenses.
