The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian forces launched significant assaults across multiple sectors on March 12. The clashes included a notable 54 airstrikes which involved the dropping of 191 guided bombs.

Additionally, Ukrainian defenses confronted 4,151 kamikaze drone engagements and recorded 2,821 attacks on both military positions and civilian settlements. The intensity of these assaults underscores the ongoing volatility in the region.

In Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk, Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks that included 88 shellings, with one instance utilizing a multiple rocket launcher. Meanwhile, in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops attempted to breach defenses near Zybine, highlighting the strategic focus on penetrating Ukrainian lines.

The Kupiansk sector reported three assaults targeting the villages of Podoly and Hlushkivka, further emphasizing the widespread nature of the engagements. Ukrainian units managed to repel seven enemy attacks in the Lyman region, defending the settlements of Stavky, Lyman, and Drobysheve.

Notably, the Sloviansk sector experienced six enemy attempts to advance, though no significant progress was made. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces perpetrated 20 attacks across several villages, with ongoing clashes noted in the area.

The Pokrovsk sector similarly witnessed 16 assaults, as Russian troops attempted to gain ground near Myrnohrad, Rodynske, and several other regions. Ukrainian responses yielded preliminary reports of 28 enemy personnel neutralized, alongside significant equipment losses for the aggressors.

The Huliaipole sector remained under heavy assault, with 24 attacks near Huliaipole and surrounding areas. The situation illustrates a multifaceted conflict where Russian aerial and ground operations are maintaining relentless pressure on Ukrainian defenses.

The General Staff reported that these hostilities remain persistent across multiple fronts, exacerbating an already challenging security situation. Since the beginning of the conflict on February 24, 2022, total Russian combat losses are estimated at approximately 1,276,760 personnel, highlighting the severe toll of ongoing military engagements.

As the situation continues to evolve, the repercussions on both military strategies and civilian communities remain significant.
