Ukrainian Woman Elected to Dordrecht City Council in Netherlands

Vita Kovalenko, who has lived in the Netherlands for nearly two decades, won a seat on the Dordrecht City Council following recent local elections. She ran as a candidate for the D66 party, securing the third highest number of votes, which assured her a council mandate.
