The data was made public as part of HUR's ongoing effort to inform both domestic and international stakeholders about the networks supporting Russia's drone capabilities. The 'Orion', also referred to as 'Inokhodets', is a strike and reconnaissance drone manufactured by the sanctioned Russian company 'Kronshtadt'.

With this new release, HUR has updated its database to include a total of 70 enterprises involved in the manufacturing of components for the 'Orion' UAV. These components encompass critical elements such as anti-icing and fuel systems, flight navigation equipment, and various configurations for electronic command and information interaction.
This update follows previous publications by HUR that featured interactive models and information about the drone's production. Notably, 15 of these components were discovered in a recent analysis of a different sample of the Shahed-107 that has been deployed by Russian forces against Ukraine.
HUR's announcement comes during a period of heightened concern regarding the proliferation of such weapon systems. Recent hostilities and military actions in the Middle East have underscored the potential for these drones, currently being utilized by Russia, to pose broader threats, including terror attacks and strikes against civilian infrastructure in various global regions.
The publication of this data emphasizes HUR's role in consolidating international efforts against the spread and application of threatening military technology, demonstrating the increasing urgency of international cooperation in this sphere. By detailing the networks supporting drone production, HUR aims to galvanize stakeholders to strengthen monitoring and create countermeasures to mitigate risk.
Overall, HUR's commitment to transparency and public awareness in the face of evolving military threats remains central to Ukrainian defense strategies. As the database continues to grow, it aims to facilitate a more informed international response to the challenges posed by these drone technologies.
