The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine announced that the country's participation in DIHAD 2026 reflects a key opportunity to enhance international cooperation in the humanitarian sector. This major global exhibition, hosted in Dubai, gathers thousands of participants, including government officials, representatives from international organizations, and civil society groups.

DIHAD focuses on pressing topics such as humanitarian response, food security, and healthcare. Ukraine is preparing to establish a national pavilion at DIHAD, utilizing approximately 54 square meters of exhibition space.

The intent is to showcase Ukraine's experiences and practical solutions adapted during the ongoing conflict. As the war has posed significant humanitarian challenges, participation in DIHAD is expected to facilitate engagement with potential donors and organizations that are critical to Ukraine's recovery.

Officials, including Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk, have begun discussions with DIHAD representatives regarding future collaborations. These discussions include the possibility of creating agri-food hubs as a new model for international cooperation in food security.

The aim is to enhance B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) relationships, along with fostering partnerships between research institutions. The event also represents a strategic move for Ukrainian companies involved in humanitarian food assistance, encouraging them to apply for participation.

Organizations interested in attending must register through the official DIHAD website, where space is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As preparations continue, Ukraine's involvement at this prominent event may be contingent upon security conditions.

However, the Ministry is optimistic that participation will yield positive contributions to humanitarian efforts and enhance Ukraine’s international presence in the sector.
