During a briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron, President Zelensky revealed that Ukraine has received six aid requests from Middle Eastern nations. Zelensky noted that military personnel and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) will return to Ukraine this weekend. They are expected to provide a comprehensive update, particularly regarding military aid linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iranian drones.

The President indicated that Ukrainian experts have already been sent to three Middle Eastern countries to combat aerial threats, especially those posed by Iranian-made Shahed drones. He also mentioned a distinct request from the United States aimed at assisting Jordan.

Zelensky pointed out that while several Middle Eastern and European countries have interceptor drones, these systems require Ukrainian military personnel’s expertise for effective operation. He stated, "This system exists officially within the Armed Forces of Ukraine; therefore, many understand that even dozens or hundreds of interceptors do not really balance the situation."
