The initiative includes detailed personal data of the named commanders, their birth dates, and document numbers. This move highlights Ukraine's ongoing efforts to hold accountable those responsible for military aggression and war crimes during the current conflict.

Commanders implicated in the campaign against Ukraine belong to various military branches, including long-range aviation, naval forces, and ground-based missile troops. These individuals have been repeatedly linked to missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian casualties since the onset of the full-scale invasion.

President Zelensky underscored the importance of collective action with the European Union, emphasizing that individuals engaging in hostilities against Ukraine should be barred from entering EU territory. “Europe is ready to support us, and I thank our partners for this,” he stated, reinforcing Ukraine's commitment to collaborate with its allies in addressing military aggressions.

The Ukrainian authorities have compiled specific data, detailing the involvement of at least 35 Russian personnel from the 44th separate aviation assault regiment, among others, demonstrating a clear pattern of targeted aggression. Since the invasion began, over 4,100 cruise missiles have been fired at Ukraine.

The statement from President Zelensky's office emphasized that all participants in the conflict against Ukraine should face EU sanctions, ensuring that they are held personally responsible for their actions. This latest move comes as Ukraine continues to gather extensive evidence of war crimes, with reports indicating that over 44 terabytes of documentation have been collected regarding Russian military conduct.

The push for sanctions reflects a broader strategy to ensure justice for Ukrainian civilians affected by the war and maintain pressure on Russia on the international stage.
