Notably, one of the extradited individuals is connected to a criminal organization that operated a fraudulent betting scheme in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.

The most recent extraditee was apprehended in Germany and was part of a group believed to have scammed citizens through deceptive gambling practices. Involving fake Instagram accounts showcasing a lavish lifestyle, the scheme tricked victims into placing bets that did not exist.

After managing to evade capture for a period, this individual was detained in August 2025 and has now been returned to Ukraine where he is currently in custody. Authorities indicate that charges against him include being a member of an organized group engaging in electronic fraud, as specified in Ukraine’s Criminal Code.

Furthermore, eight of his accomplices have already been charged, and their assets have been seized by the state. In total, this year's extradition counts include eight individuals from Poland, six from Germany, two from the Czech Republic, and one each from Spain, Latvia, and Belgium.
