Russian Forces Launch 65 Attacks Amid Ongoing Fighting in Ukraine

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the day has seen a surge in hostilities, particularly in the Kostyantynivka area where Russian troops conducted 18 offensive actions. Concurrently, attacks were also noted in the Pokrovsk and Hulyaipole regions.

Areas such as Hrynivka in the Chernihiv region and several locations in the Sumy region experienced strikes as part of the broader military engagement. The Ukrainian response has been active, with forces repelling multiple assaults and ongoing clashes reported in various sectors.

At the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, a total of 44 bombardments were recorded, utilizing advanced artillery systems including multiple launch rocket systems. On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces attempted to advance towards Novoplatonivka, while Ukrainian defenders fended off four separate Russian attempts to break through in the Lyman direction, with one conflict persisting in the area.

Across the Slovyansk front, Russian troops made three attempts to approach Ukrainian positions near Rai-Oleksandrivka, with one engagement still underway. Meanwhile, the Kramatorsk front remained quiet with no significant offensive actions reported by Russian forces.

The dynamic in the Kostyantynivka area continues to evolve as Ukrainian forces remain vigilant, repelling waves of assault and exhausting the aggressor along the entire frontline. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 15 assaults in various localities, including Bilytske and Myrnohrad, with ongoing skirmishes.

Additionally, there have been aerial assaults against Kolomiytsia and Pysantsi. The situation remains fluid, particularly as Russian aviation impacts the regions of Shyrokoho and Charivne, with six clashes reported in the vicinity of Hulyaipole and other surrounding areas.

Despite ongoing conflicts, no new breakthrough attempts have been documented today, signaling yet another day of heavy fighting without significant territorial changes. Ukrainian military operations are designed to wear down Russian forces, maintaining a defensive posture across critical battle zones while preparing for potential counteractions.
