According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Syniegubov, multiple areas were affected by the assaults on March 9. In Slatyno, part of the Derhachi community, a 59-year-old man sustained injuries due to the strikes.

The attack involved heavy artillery, with six Tornado multiple launch rocket systems utilized alongside a barrage of UAVs, including nine Geran-2 drones and others whose types are still being assessed. The damage inflicted spans across various districts.

In Zolochiv of the Bohodukhiv district, a private house was significantly impacted. Meanwhile, a grain storage facility in Voloska Balakliya, located in the Kupiansk district, sustained heavy damage.

Further repercussions were felt in the Izium district, where two private residences were harmed in Balakliia and Borova. The Kharkiv district also faced destruction, with multiple properties impacted: two homes and a car in Vilshany, alongside damage to a summer house in Dokuchaevske and a farm building in Dergachi.

In a parallel response, search and rescue operations are ongoing in Kharkiv following the earlier Russian strike on a residential building, which occurred on the night of March 7, resulting in ten confirmed fatalities and injuries to an additional 26 victims. The local authorities continue to address the aftermath of these assaults as conditions evolve.
